Overview

The QC Reports sub-page allows users to generate downloadable quality control reports based on configured control sets. QC reports provide a consolidated view of QC activity, including Levey-Jennings charts and control observations, and are commonly used for monthly QC review, audits, and record retention.

Reports are generated in PDF format.

Generating a QC Report

1. Navigate to Quality Control > QC Reports.
2. Use the Control Set dropdown to select the control set for which you want to generate a report.
3. From the Instrument dropdown, select the instrument associated with the selected control set.
   • If the control set is associated with multiple instruments, you may refine the report by selecting a specific instrument.
4. Specify the Start Date and End Date for the reporting period.
   • QC reports are commonly generated for full monthly periods
5. Confirm the report format.
   • QC reports are generated in PDF format
6. Select Generate Report.

Downloading the QC Report

1. After selecting Generate Report, a status banner will appear indicating that the report is being generated.
2. Once generation is complete, the report status will update to Ready.
3. Select the download hyperlink to open the report.
4. Save the PDF file to your local system or designated storage location.

QC Report Contents

Each QC report includes the following information:

• Control set name
• Instrument name
• Reporting date range
• Report generation date
• An interactive index
• Levey-Jennings charts displaying QC results
• Associated QC observations listed below each chart

A separate Levey-Jennings chart is generated for:

• Each control target
• Each control lot

This structure allows for clear visualization of QC performance across different controls and lots within the selected control set.
