Overview
The QC Reports sub-page allows users to generate downloadable quality control reports based on configured control sets. QC reports provide a consolidated view of QC activity, including Levey-Jennings charts and control observations, and are commonly used for monthly QC review, audits, and record retention.
Reports are generated in PDF format.
Generating a QC Report
- Navigate to Quality Control > QC Reports.
- Use the Control Set dropdown to select the control set for which you want to generate a report.
- From the Instrument dropdown, select the instrument associated with the selected control set.
- If the control set is associated with multiple instruments, you may refine the report by selecting a specific instrument.
- Specify the Start Date and End Date for the reporting period.
- QC reports are commonly generated for full monthly periods
- Confirm the report format.
- QC reports are generated in PDF format
- Select Generate Report.
Downloading the QC Report
- After selecting Generate Report, a status banner will appear indicating that the report is being generated.
- Once generation is complete, the report status will update to Ready.
- Select the download hyperlink to open the report.
- Save the PDF file to your local system or designated storage location.
QC Report Contents
Each QC report includes the following information:
- Control set name
- Instrument name
- Reporting date range
- Report generation date
- An interactive index
- Levey-Jennings charts displaying QC results
- Associated QC observations listed below each chart
A separate Levey-Jennings chart is generated for:
- Each control target
- Each control lot
This structure allows for clear visualization of QC performance across different controls and lots within the selected control set.
