Users can accession multiple Orders at once through the Multi-Order Accession page. Compared to the main Accession page - which provides more options after receiving as well as a more detailed look at each Order being received - the Multi-Order Accession page allows you to receive many Orders at a time.
To utilize this, enter Dendi Order Codes or sample barcode IDs into the provided textbox, with values separate by commas or newlines. Upon receiving Orders, the text input will be parsed, and users will see a breakdown of what Orders were accessioned, and which ones were rejected due to being incorrect codes or duplicates.
Up to 50 codes will be parsed at one time. Anything parsed will be removed from the textbox, and anything unparsed will remain. You can then press “Receive Orders” again to parse up to 50 more subsequently until you have processed all your Order Codes or sample barcode IDs.
After accessioning a group of codes, you can look at the Accessioned table to see which codes were successfully accessioned or unsuccessfully, and have the option to print labels for successfully accessioned codes. Labels will be printed in order of received time to match lab workflow.
Links to specific accessioned Orders are shown in the popup that appears after clicking “Successful Accession Count”, allowing for quick navigation.
Clicking on a number in the “Unsuccessful Accession Count” will show a popup detailing why a scanned code was unsuccessful. The following types of errors are possible:
- Values do not exist - Values that do not exist in the system at all (Order codes, sample barcodes, and Order alternate IDs).
- No unreceived Orders - Associated Order(s) exist, but they have already all been marked as received.
- Possible duplicates to check individually - Duplicate values matching at least one unreceived Order code, sample barcode, or Order alternate IDs.
