This tab enables users to create and edit container types with set volumes.

By clicking on the ‘+ Container Type’ button in the top right of the screen, users will be taken to a create container type form. Users may enter a custom Name for their container type and specify a container Volume in milliliters (mL).

The container type name must be unique and the container volume must have no more than 4 decimal places of precision.

After successfully creating a container type, users will be taken to the container type details page.

This page specifies the container type name, the container volume, and any laboratory Tests that the container is associated with. Container types can be associated with Tests via the Test create and update pages.

Users may also edit and delete container types from the container type details page.
