Orders are the main atomic unit within Dendi LIS, representing communications from an ordering provider to a lab to perform testing. If you have a login to the Dendi portal, you are able to create Orders and view the results for Orders that you have created.

Orders will consist of / have the following characteristics:

• One Account (clinic/location)
• One Provider (ordering provider)
• One Patient with demographics & insurance information
• One or more samples
• One or more Test Profiles and associated Tests

This document will walk you through the necessary steps to create an Order. Please note that some functionality may be available only to specific user types (Account Admins, Providers, and Collectors).
