Users can group Controls into Control Sets and require instruments to satisfy Control Set requirements before importing Patient results. For example, a toxicology laboratory might want to group all controls required for confirmation testing into a Control Set.

A grouping of Controls. Many Controls may need to be run to validate an Instrument. Users can group controls into Control Sets to view data for these Controls.

• Name: User-defined name for Control Set
• Aliases: Alternate searchable names for Control Set
• Controls: Controls associated with Control Set
• QC Run Verification: Used to keep track of QC runs. Verifying QC may be a prerequisite to importing Patient results for a given instrument.
